Innovation is a key part of Opticron philosophy – bringing new and better solutions to our customers as they demand more and different things from their equipment. One of the first companies outside Europe’s ‘big three’ to launch an internally focused, 2 metre close focus roof prism binocular in 1995, Opticron was a forerunner in the development of the Travelscope (a high quality interchangeable eyepiece spottingscope that meant larger scopes could be left at home) and Opticron offers the widest range of quality full-size field monoculars of any company in the business.
Another recent example of how Opticron brings new levels of performance and specification to every product category in which it competes is the Traveller BGA Mg. Available in 6×32, 8×32 and 10×32 and weighing between 367 and 380g these are the lightest, premium quality 32mm roof prisms available on the market.
Of course it’s not only how the instrument looks and handles when you first take it out, it’s how well it responds after being left out in the rain overnight or pulled out of a backpack in 40°C heat with 100% humidity or maybe even -20°C when everything is frozen over. Opticron equipment is designed and built to work in all weathers and with due care and the occasional service, for a lifetime.
With so many years in the business Opticron accept things can go wrong and know how to deal with them when they do. Whether it’s accidental damage or product failure, Opticron has a dedicated team of technicians that will diagnose and repair equipment whether it’s replacing a broken eyecup or overhauling your favorite pair of binoculars. You can talk directly to the person carrying out the repair or through your dealer as you choose.
- Traveler-sarjan kiikarit Traveler-sarjan kiikari ovat edullisin sarja Opticronilta edustuksessamme. Tuotteet ovat keveitä ja nimensä mukaisesti sopivat hyvin reissukäyttöön. Optiikka on erottelukykyinen ja terävä, mutta laseihin ei ole lisätty erityisesti kromaattista aberraatiota poistavaa materiaalia, esim. fluoridikiteitä. Suorituskyky on hyvä ja riittää erinomaisesti ns. normaaleissa olosuhteissa.
- Explorer WA ED-sarjan kiikarit Explorer WA ED on päivitetty hiljattain ja tarjoaa erinomaisen yhdistelmän laatua ja ergonomiaa. Se on ihanteellinen valinta kaikille, jotka haluavat laajakulmaisen kiikarin. Typpitäytteinen ja vesitiivis, vaihekorjatut BAK-4 prismat Oasis-C pinnoitteella ja kolmiportaisesti sisäänvedettävä silmäsuppilot. Lähin tarkennusetäisyys on jopa 2 m. Runko on magnesiumseosta ja pinnoitettu pehmeällä suojaavalla kumipinnoitteella. Mallisarjaa yhdistää laaja näkökenttä, terävä kuva ja pitkä silmäetäisyys silmälasien käyttäjille. ED- lasi parantaa kuvan värikylläisyyttä ja kontrastia.
- ES-kaukoputket OPTICRON ES-mallisarja versio 4 tuli markkinoille syksyllä 2017. Siihen lisättiin 8:1 kaksoistarkennus, jonka käyttö on nopeaa ja saat hetkessä terävän kuvan. Kuvan kontrastia parannettiin entisestään. Se on tasapainoinen ja terävä aina isoihin suurennoksiin asti. Objektiivi koostuu kolmois ED-elementistä ja on päällystetty Opticronin omalla F-tyypin päällysteellä mahdollisten heijastumisten ja valon taittumisen ehkäisemiseksi.
- Travelscope MM4-sarja Travelscope on Opticronin kehittämä ns. matkamalli, jossa helppoon kannettavuuteen ja pieneen fyysiseen kokoon yhdistyy ED-tason optiikan kirkkaus ja erottelukyky. Tämä on tuhansien käyttäjien valinta ympäri maailman kun etsitään hyvää kuvanlaatua ja kannettavuutta. “Pienempi, kevyempi, kirkkaampi ja terävämpi”.
